For agencies

SEO reseller program
for agencies that sell more than they can staff.

You sell the SEO, keep the client relationship and set the price. I do the audits, the on-page work, the content and the reporting, under your brand, invisible to your client.

What an SEO reseller program actually is

Reselling SEO means you sell the service under your own name while a partner does the delivery behind the scenes. You own the contract, the pricing and the relationship. The partner never appears on a call, an email or a report unless you want them to.

It exists because agency demand and agency headcount move at different speeds. A web design shop lands three clients who all want ranking work, and hiring an SEO takes three months and a salary. Reselling closes that gap without the fixed cost.

How this program works

You send me the client and the goal. I audit, scope and tell you honestly what is achievable and roughly when. You mark it up and quote your client. Once approved, work starts on an agreed cadence and you get deliverables and reporting branded to you.

If a client's site is in bad enough shape that ranking work would be wasted, I will say so before you sell it rather than after. A reseller partner who lets you oversell is not saving you anything.

What is included

  • Full technical and on-page audit, delivered as a client-ready document under your logo
  • Keyword research and search intent mapping, with realistic difficulty assessment
  • On-page implementation: titles, meta, headings, internal linking, schema
  • Content briefs, or finished content written to the brief, your choice
  • Local SEO and Google Business Profile work where the client has a service area
  • Monthly reporting in your template, with plain-English commentary you can forward
  • A written scope before anything is billed, so there is no argument later
  • NDA as standard, and no contact with your client unless you ask for it

Margin, and how to price it

Most agencies mark reseller SEO up two to three times. That is not a markup on nothing: you carry the sales cost, the account management, the client's expectations and the risk. The delivery cost is one line in your P&L, and it is a variable line, which is the entire point.

The honest version of the maths: if delivery costs you a fixed monthly amount and you sell at three times that, you keep two thirds before your own time. Whether that is good depends on how much account management the client needs, which is why I would rather flag a high-maintenance client early than watch the margin evaporate.

Specific numbers are on the pricing page, and the white label SEO pricing guide walks through how agencies structure the markup.

Reseller or white label, and does the difference matter

In practice the two words describe the same arrangement from different angles. Reselling emphasises that you are buying delivery to sell on. White label emphasises that the deliverables carry your brand. You get both here. The white label SEO services page describes the same work from the deliverables side, and white label local SEO covers map-pack clients specifically.

When reselling is the wrong call

If SEO is going to be the core of your agency's offer and most of your revenue, hire. Owning that capability in-house is worth more than the margin you save, and you will outgrow any partner arrangement.

Reselling is right when SEO is adjacent to your main service, when demand is real but lumpy, or when you want to test whether the offer sells before committing a salary to it. Those are the three cases where it clearly beats hiring.

Frequently asked questions

Will my client know you exist?

No, unless you decide otherwise. Reports carry your branding, I do not contact your client, and an NDA is signed as standard before anything starts.

What is the minimum commitment?

There is no lock-in. Work is scoped and agreed per engagement. If a month of delivery is not worth what you paid, you stop, and that is a fair test of the arrangement.

Can you white label the reporting in my template?

Yes. Send your template and logo and reporting arrives in it. If you do not have one, you get a clean branded PDF you can send as-is.

How fast can you start?

An audit usually turns around inside a few business days. Implementation depends on access, which is normally the actual bottleneck rather than capacity.

Do you take on the client if things go wrong between us?

No. Your client is your client. That is the whole basis of the arrangement.
